Hello!
Hope you are well
Today I have a Wedding card to show you. I made it for my friend Anne-Marie to give to her daughter and future son in law on their Wedding day. Anne-Marie has chosen the image Wedding Dance from KennyK Stamps as the couple met through dancing. You can find the image HERE.
Her daughter is very talented, she makes all clothes for her family, even underwear, so of course she has made her own Wedding dress. She has also made the Wedding bouquet, all in fabric. I saw a pic of the bouquet and it's absolutely stunning. I couldn't tell it was made of fabric it look so real. Anne-Marie has promised to show me some more pics from the Wedding later and I can't wait to see them.
So the theme for the Wedding card is sewing. An unconventional theme for a Wedding card maybe, but lots of fun for me to work with.
I used all sewing related dies and decorations I could find in my stash. The big scissor and thread rolls on the side is an edge die from Tim Holtz, the small scissors I think are from Marianne Design. The sentiment at the bottom is from Tim Holtz
The zipper is made with a die from I think Marianne Design. The botton border is made with a Memory Box die and the small heart is made with a Marianne Design die. I used some embossing powder on both the heart and the buttons.
I bought a set of bobbins at Hobby Lobby, USA, last year just to use as decorations for my cards and canvases as I love metal decorations

The image is colored with Prismacolor pencils and the love stamp behind the couple is from Magnolia. I have also used my sewing machine again as you can see.
The big tag at the top and all the big hearts are made with Tim Holtz dies. The small picture wheel is made with a Magnolia die. The tickets are from a sewing themed stamp set from Tim Holtz. Design paper with sewing theme from stash
The wooden thread rolls are colored with metallic acrylic paint from Finnabair
The big zipper is from a local store and the couples names are made with a Tim Holtz die, cardstock and embossing powder
The back side of the card.
'Love' is made with a die but don't know what brand (I bought it at either Hobby Lobby or Michaels, USA) and 'forever' with a Tim Holtz die. If I remember correctly the small Wedding couple is a stamp from Kreativa Ting in Västerås, Sweden, they design their own rubber stamps
There is still a few days left to enter the May challenge over at Club KennyK Facebook and the theme is always Anything Goes.
If you enter the challenge you will be eligible for this months freebie which is Danger Dad. You just have to use a KennyK stamp or digi and you can enter with just a colored image if you don't have time or don't want to create a full project.
Prizes are KennyK digi(s) of choice and the categories are best coloring, best project and at least one random winner.
Thank you for looking and
have a wonderful day!
Hugs, Lisa
