A cute lion and a new challenge at Club KennyK

Hello there!

Time again for a new challenge at our Facebook group Club KennyK and my card today is made using Cute Lion. You can find him HERE. It´s one of the freebies this month and the other one is the super cool Rock Chick. You can get them by signing up for the KennyK Newsletter and by joining our Facebook club, Club KennyK. There is always a freebie in the newsletter every month and at the Club there is either a freebie or a discounted image each month. To enter this challenge you need to use one of these freebies and you can enter with a full project or with just a colored image.

I´ve colored this cutie with Polychromos pencils and given him a bow tie. I think he looks good in purple.

I think he´s been partying all night in the big city, lol. The fishes and milk bottles are made using stamps and dies from Tim Holtz. The sentiment 'it´s a party' is a stamp from Tim Holtz, embossed in black. The paws, the bones and the burlap are made using Cheery Lynn dies. The city skyline and the pipe are made using Memory Box dies, the mini picture wheel a Magnolia die and the torn notebook a Mariann Design die. The tag and the stars are die cuts from a Tim Holtz dies. I´ve used a square base made from a Spellbinder die. The zebra design paper is from Magnolia and the white paper is cardstock.

Thanks for visiting
Have a great day

KennyK Fireman

Hi there, for my card today I´ve used Fireman from KennyK Stamps, you can find him HERE. He´s colored with Distress Ink re-inkers and for the background I´ve used my Polychromos pencils.

The tags and the torn paper are made with dies from Marianne Design, they are two of my most used dies and I love them. The bigger gears are made with a Tim Holtz die, the red gears with a Memory Box die and the yellow gears at the bottom of the card with a Cheery Lynn die... I love gears, LOL.

The fire hydrant, the fire truck and the barb wire are also made with Cheery Lynn dies. The buildings at each side of the bottom of my card is made with a Memory Box die. Design papers from DCWV Brooklyn Stack and also red and yellow coredinations cardstock.

Have a super day

Angel Seraphina and Christmas in July

Hi, It´s time again for an exciting new release at www.kennykstamps.com. KennyK have created three lovely angels: Aurora, Nevaeh and Seraphina. They are called Christmas Angels and I absolutely love them.

We also have a new challenge at Club KennyK  (our Facebook group) starting today and the theme is Christmas in July. A perfect opportunity to get a head start with your Christmas cards. As always you could enter an anything goes project but to be eligible for the big five digi prize you must follow the theme.

I had a hard time choosing which lovely angel to use for my project but finally decided to use the gorgeous Seraphina. I´ve given her a pair of extra wings in silver and colored her with my polychromos pencils.

I´ve made a Christmas tag using a Tim Holtz die and white cardstock. The lovely design papers are from Maja Design. The silver wings and the sentiment are both made with Tim Holtz dies, white cardstock and embossing powder in silver. The circles behind the image are made with Spellbinder dies. The torn notebook die I´ve used is from Marianne Design. All snowflakes are made with Tim Holtz dies and the white ones got some silver embossing powder sprinkled over them. The small tag are made with a Marianne Design die and dark blue cardstock.

Guest Designer at CCC Digi Creations

Happy Wednesday Crafters! I hope you are well.
CCC Digi Creations have a new challenge starting today and I´m absolutely delighted to be their guest designer for this challenge. The theme is "Let´s Get Sentimental" and I´ve used the image
Sports 9 so kindly given to me by Morgan´s Artworld.

I do hope you will pop over to visit CCC Digi Creations to see all the fabulous creations made by their talented DT´s. They have challenges every fortnight starting the 1st and the 15th every month.

Thank you so much CCC Digi Creations for asking me and thank you Morgan´s Artworld for this lovely image. This was such a fun card to make and this image suited me just perfect. I love making this type of card and I have a special recipient in mind for this one. He fishes a lot and he even looks like the man in the image so I´m quite sure this card will fit him like a glove.

The recipe for my card

Image Sports 9 from Morgan´s Artworld colored with FC Polychromos pencils

Design paper from Prima, Rebellious Collection "Toxic"(it´s the green paper with the grid pattern in black)
Cardstock in black, white and Coredinations in green with light green core

Anything Goes at Club KennyK

Hello Crafters!
Sharing with you today my DT card for KennyK with the theme we all love, Anything Goes. My card is made using the super sexy image Heidi Hot Rod and also a sentiment from the clearstamp set Dangerous Curves. You can find them both at www.kennykstamps.com.

The challenge starts today at our Facebook group Club KennyK and runs until the end of this month. This time there will be extra prizes beside the usual digis. How about the chance to win a 5 pen Chameleon marker set!!! There are 3 sets of these fabulous markers on stake here so welcome to join the fun.

I wanted a rusty look on my card so I´ve used these new rust effect pastes from Prima on some details. I´m so in love with them. They come in a set of three colors and together they are magical.

I was so happy finding that dirt bike die from Cheery Lynn so I could make a themed card for my Enduro loving brother in law´s 50th Birthday.

Recipe
Image Heidi Hot Rod from KennyK colored with Distress Ink re-inkers
Dies from Tim Holtz, Marianne Design, Cheery Lynn, Kaiserkraft, Lawn Fawn and Spellbinders
Design papers from Prima, the Romance Novel Collection
Cardstock in black
Dangerous Curves ticket/sentiment down at the right hand side is from the KennyK clearstamp set Dangerous Curves
The rust I´ve created using three different techniques: rust effect paste from Prima (on the frame and the wrench for example), embossing powder (the gears) or acrylic paint from DecoArt (the covered nuts)
The dirt bike is cut out with a die from Cheery Lynn and then covered with five colors of embossing powder and also a touch of the rust effect paste from Prima
The wrench I´ve bought in a hardware store, it´s also covered with the rust effect paste
The covered nuts at the three corners of the frame I´ve made using board from the set Industrial Elements (Tando Creative) colored with DecoArt acrylic paint raw umber and quinacridone gold
The light I found laying on the garage floor at my hubby´s work
The Gasoline bottle and the helmet are charms (I´ve taken of the little ring at the top)
The mask and the spark plug are from two different set of embelishments from Prima
The safety pin I think is from Michaels

Please don´t hesitate to ask if you need more details
