Hello and welcome,

Here the winter is back. We had a few days earlier with warmer temperatures and snow melting and I even heard the bird singing their spring song. Hope it will come back soon.

Time for a new challenge at Ally's Angels and the theme is always anything goes. As usual there is a nice prize for a lucky winner. I've made this card using products from Tim Holtz and DecoArt.

Panels are made with watercolor paper, oxide inks or fluid acrylic paints and crackle paint/glaze. A favorite to use is corrugated paper this time used as the base and also for part of the voltage die cut.

I used distress marker pine needle and tattered rose to colour the paper doll. Metal decorations from Tim Holtz with acrylic paint and distress crayons.

To create the yellow-green panel I first used oxide inks on watercolor paper then the 3D folder foundry from Tim Holtz and more oxides. I then used Americana weathered wood crackle medium and then crackle glaze, both from DecoArt. Finished by applying one layer of black acrylic paint and rubbed off with cloth.

I've only used this die 'voltage' from Tim Holtz once before but it's already a favorite. I used crackle paint, yellow fluid acrylic paint and distress ink black soot. For the corrugated part I first used clear gesso, distress paint weathered wood and then metallic lustre black shimmer from Deco Art. The black paper behind the stars is coredination cardstock with white core.

Metal decoration with numbers from Tim Holtz with a layer of green acrylic paint from DecoArt rubbed off with cloth then a layer of distress paint black soot and sanded.

Another close up. The key I think is from Michaels or Hobby Lobby. The '517' metal decoration is from Tim Holtz. I used acrylic paint to colour them.
