Hello Crafters!
Sharing with you today my DT card for KennyK with the theme we all love, Anything Goes. My card is made using the super sexy image Heidi Hot Rod and also a sentiment from the clearstamp set Dangerous Curves. You can find them both at www.kennykstamps.com.
The challenge starts today at our Facebook group Club KennyK and runs until the end of this month. This time there will be extra prizes beside the usual digis. How about the chance to win a 5 pen Chameleon marker set!!! There are 3 sets of these fabulous markers on stake here so welcome to join the fun.
I wanted a rusty look on my card so I´ve used these new rust effect pastes from Prima on some details. I´m so in love with them. They come in a set of three colors and together they are magical.
I was so happy finding that dirt bike die from Cheery Lynn so I could make a themed card for my Enduro loving brother in law´s 50th Birthday.
Recipe
Image Heidi Hot Rod from KennyK colored with Distress Ink re-inkers
Dies from Tim Holtz, Marianne Design, Cheery Lynn, Kaiserkraft, Lawn Fawn and Spellbinders
Design papers from Prima, the Romance Novel Collection
Cardstock in black
Dangerous Curves ticket/sentiment down at the right hand side is from the KennyK clearstamp set Dangerous Curves
The rust I´ve created using three different techniques: rust effect paste from Prima (on the frame and the wrench for example), embossing powder (the gears) or acrylic paint from DecoArt (the covered nuts)
The dirt bike is cut out with a die from Cheery Lynn and then covered with five colors of embossing powder and also a touch of the rust effect paste from Prima
The wrench I´ve bought in a hardware store, it´s also covered with the rust effect paste
The covered nuts at the three corners of the frame I´ve made using board from the set Industrial Elements (Tando Creative) colored with DecoArt acrylic paint raw umber and quinacridone gold
The light I found laying on the garage floor at my hubby´s work
The Gasoline bottle and the helmet are charms (I´ve taken of the little ring at the top)
The mask and the spark plug are from two different set of embelishments from Prima
The safety pin I think is from Michaels
Please don´t hesitate to ask if you need more details
