HAPPY BIRTHDAY KennyK!
I wish you a fabulous day!

This special post is for the one and only, the fantastic KennyK.
It´s his birthday today and all the DT´s got together to surprise him with lots of Birthday wishes. I´ve used the super cool goth girl Vikki Lee Vicious for this music themed card and I think I red somewhere that KennyK´s favorite color is blue and as it is my favorite color too I decided to make a blue card with "rusty" details.

Over at Club KennyK you can join the Birthday celebration with the chance of winning a special prize. Make a KennyK Birthday creation and add it to the album. The prize is a 25 dollar gift voucher to use in the KennyK Stamps store. The challenge will run for one week starting today and don´t miss wishing him a Happy Birthday.

Thank you Kenny for all the amazing images and stamps you´ve created. I LOVE THEM! and I hope you are having a super awesome day together with your family and friends. YOU ROCK!

Recipe
I´ve used dies from Tim Holtz (the globe, the flag and the star border), Memory box (the skyline border and the small blue stars), Magnolia die (the small picture wheel). The guitars are made from a Lea-bilities die, the music border from a Cheery Lynn die and the torn notebook from a Marianne Design die. The base is made with a GoKreate die and "Congrats" with a Lawn Fawn die.

I´ve used blue cardstock, blue embossing powder and Distress Ink faded jeans. The rust is made using four different colors of embossing powder and Distress Ink. Design paper from Tim Holtz.

The "You Rock" sentiment is a stamp from Crafter´s Companion embossed in blue on blue cardstock. When I saw this stamp I though it would be perfect for Kenny´s card :)

La Spyda & Mad Mummy

Hello and Welcome!

A new challenge starts today at Club KennyK, the Facebook group for KennyK fans. To enter, create a project using one of this months freebie/discounted images. The freebie this month is Mad Mummy and the one dollar deal is the gorgeous witch La Spyda.  To get the freebie you need to subscribe to the KennyK monthly newsletter and to get the one dollar deal you use the coupon code ONEDOLLAR at checkout. You can find more details at www.kennykstamps.com.

I´ve used La Spyda for my DT project and colored her with Polychromos pencils. She is so much fun to color. The "Happy Halloween" sentiment is a stamp from Tim Holtz embossed in purple.
I´ve embossed spider web around the image using a military green embossing powder from Spark´l and Sprinkle.

I´ve used dies from Cheery Lynn: the black spider web border, the small spider web down at the right hand side, the big spider web at the top on the right hand side, the cat and the witch hatDies used from Tim Holtz are the spider web I used to decorate the corner of the image, the big bottle and the "boo". I´m not sure from where I got the pumpkin border though, sorry.

Design paper from Echo Park (the black layers at the back) and Maja Design (the purple). The green layer behind the image is made with green cardstock and a Halloween embossing plate from Tim Holtz and some Distress Ink black soot.

For all the spider webs I´ve used black cardstock and to get them shiny green I´ve used acrylic paint from Finnabair/Prima in emerald green.

For some details I´ve used embossing powder in black. All the small bottles are stamps embossed in black on green cardstock. The skull is a button found in a store in Gothenburg that only sells buttons (they have A LOT of buttons, lol). It´s a fantastic store to find details for my projects.

I also have a spider on my project even though it´s hard to spot him. He is all black except for his purple eyes and he is down at the left hand side. I´ve made him using glue from a glue gun to get the body and to get those hairy legs I glued some of that green stuff they use for mini models on metal wire. You know the fantastic scenes they build for model trains etc. This is what they use to make grass. Then I sprayed everything with black paint.

Have a great day!
