Mixed media canvas

Hello everyone, today I have something special to show you. Last weekend I attended a Finnabair class in Lund, Sweden. This is something I´ve wanted to do for a long time and I can say it was absolutely FANTASTIC!!! Anna is such a delightful person, so very creative and inspiring. Loved it!

I can hardly believe that I´ve created this, lol.

This is a canvas made with embellishments, stencils, pastes, gels and paints from Finnabair. I don´t hink I can describe how I made this in Swedish even less in English, lol, so you just have to enjoy the look of it. But don´t hesitate to ask if you have a question, I will try my best to answer them :)

Have a lovely day

Candy Shop

Hi all!

In my second post for today I have a card to show you using one of the new backgrounds from www.kennykstamps.com. I have used Candy Shop together with Queens Cutie, one of the clearstamp sets also available in the shop. I went to the local candy shop to see if I could find any candy to use for my card and when I found a pink and an orange lollipop I knew what color to use.

I colored her with Distress Ink re-inkers in picked raspberry and ripe persimmon, and the Candy Shop background is colored with FC Polychromos pencils. The KennyK challenge starting today have a theme of using flowers so I made this very big flower using a Tim Holtz die. I found a piece of candy to fit the center of the flower.

Welcome to join our challenge starting today at Club KennyK!

Freebie challenge at Club KennyK

Hi all and thanks for visiting today. This is my inspiration project to our latest challenge at Club KennyK. If you want to participate you need to use one of this months freebies or discounted images which are Fabby Farah, Freshman and Ginger Gem. You can find them all HERE. If you sign up for the KennyK Stamp Newsletter you will receive a freebie each month. You need to be a member of Club KennyK to get the links to the discounted images.

Here is my card using Fabby Farah:

I´ve made it with a photo theme using a lot of my photo related dies and embellishments. I´ve tried to make it look like an old photo, so she is colored in sepia with my Distress Ink re-inkers and then I´ve used UTEE over and around the image to make crackles and then Distress Ink Walnut Stain to color the crackles with.

Recipe
Dies from Tim Holtz, Sizzix, Magnolia and Cottage Cutz
Cardstock in black and kraft
Photograph stamp from Tim Holtz
Others: Flowers, Film strip embellishments from Tim Holtz, Coffee filter to create the base for the big flower and also for the Photograph stamp, black embossing powder, UTEE, Distress Ink Walnut Stain/Black Soot.

Have a fabulous day!
Hugs, Lisa
